Fillers

Dermal fillers are substances injected into the skin to smooth wrinkles and make them less noticeable, add or replace volume or provide contour and definition where there is none.
Dermal Fillers can be used for something as simple as adding volume to the lip or as much as providing a full face rejuvenation or facial balancing. Dermal Fillers are sold by the syringe and how much needed varies greatly based on the anatomy and desired outcome.
You might have mild discomfort, bruising and swelling for up to a week. After the swelling goes down, you might need a touch-up injection for the best results. How long the effect lasts depends on the type of wrinkle and filler, among other factors. However generally you can expect approximately a year to two from dermal fillers.
At Southern Bloom we offer a variety of brands of dermal fillers, our trained injector can help you decide which filler type is best for you during a consult.
