Microneedling utilizes microneedles that are approximately 0.1-0.25 in diameter to create micro-injuries in the outer layer of your skin (epidermis). These micro-injuries initiate the body’s natural healing properties to repair the micro-injuries, resulting in visible improvements in the texture and resiliency of your skin. You will sometimes hear this procedure referred to as “collagen induction therapy” or “percutaneous collagen induction” due to its reliance on new collagen to deliver results.
The entire process lasts about 20-45 minutes and only requires the use of a topical anesthetic, applied after your skin has been thoroughly cleansed. Although it can be done on its own, microneedling is now often combined with other therapeutic medications or serums to further enhance your results.
MICRONEEDLING

Improves skin texture
Starting around age 30, two vital components of your skin, collagen and elastin, begin to diminish. Microneedling induces your skin’s healing response. Your skin reacts to the procedure almost immediately and works to close the micro-wounds. Your skin is noticeably softer and has a smoother texture following treatment.
Diminishes the appearance of scarring
Microneedling treatments reduce acne scars in the same way that they improve the overall texture of your skin. When scarring occurs, your body undergoes fibrosis, which pulls the skin down, creating unsightly irregularities on the surface. You may also suffer hyperpigmentation from pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads.
Reduces acne including blackheads
If you still suffer from acne or blackheads, you may benefit from microneedling treatments. As the sterilized needles poke holes in the uppermost layer of your skin, they remove the source of the recurring blackhead in the process. Following the procedure, your pores should be visibly smaller, especially around your nose.
Makes fine lines and wrinkles less apparent
Microneedling turns back the hands of time by targeting fine lines and wrinkles. When the microneedling device breaks into the dermis, it triggers growth factors, which allow your skin to repair itself rapidly. Your body stimulates the natural production of collagen, ultimately tightening skin and reducing wrinkles in the process.

Results are best when done in a series of 3-4 , 4-6 weeks apart.
According to a 2008 study, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart, produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment.
We offer PRP, Exosomes, Sculptra and Even Toxin to be added to the treatment for further benefit and improved healing.

Redness can last up to 48 hours, bruising is possible but not likely.
You can lower your risk of minor side effects by taking a few precautions. Drink plenty of water before the treatment and don’t wear makeup to your appointment. After treatment, don’t exfoliate or use skin products containing alcohol. Avoid excessive sun exposure and limit strenuous physical activity for a few days.
